About the Name – Kób

Kób (pronounced: cob-beuh) means “cup” in Medumba, a language spoken in the Ndé department of Cameroon’s West Region. The word is likely borrowed from the English word "cup", a reflection of how languages evolve; adapting new objects while making them their own.
